coach a team

Warm-up your spirit fingers, lace up your sneakers and inspire a group of girls to be strong and healthy. Teams of volunteer coaches facilitate our easy-to-follow curriculum with small groups of girls over the course of 10 weeks. Amidst the conversation, laughter, hugs and energy awards, you will witness transformational change in the girls and don't be surprised if you realize that you are positively changing as well!

volunteer at our 5ks

The Girls on the Run 5K would not be possible without the help of amazing volunteers who believe in our mission and show up to support our girls. Whatever your special skills and talents, we have a role for everyone.

Our Charlotte council hosts two regional 5K's per season to better serve the need of our girls and their families! The North Region 5K will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Northcross Shopping Center in Huntersville. The South Region 5K will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Whitehall Corporate Center in South Charlotte.
